Marketing/Communications: Kristin Iannucci- kei5056@psu.edu
Hi everyone! My name is Kristin Iannucci and I am elated to serve as the Marketing and Communications Director for Smeal Student Mentors. I am currently a second-year student from Westchester, NY. I am pursuing a major in Marketing with a minor in Legal Environment of Business. I am a member of Penn State Prime, Women in Business, and I also serve on the Historian Committee as the Graphic Designer for Zeta Tau Alpha. I joined SSM and the Board of Directors because I believe in the cause of our organization-helping first-year students get acclimated and thrive at Smeal. I am inspired by the hardworking, dedicated, and kind group of mentors that surround me and I cannot wait to make an impact on the organization alongside the other members of the Board of Directors!

Technology Director: Ashley Klein- avk6259@psu.edu
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley Klein and I am ecstatic to serve as the Technology Director for Smeal Student Mentors. I am currently a second-year from Midlothian, VA majoring in Marketing and minoring in Human Development and Family Studies. Outside of SSM I am a member of the Penn State American Marketing Association and Axis, a special interest organization dedicated to THON where I am currently serving as a Leadership Committee Captain. This past summer I was a New Student Orientation Ambassador for Smeal, where I was able to help the first-year students schedule classes and learn about Smeal and its impact. In my free time I love traveling, going to concerts and Penn State sporting events (specifically football and hockey), and playing the piano. I cannot wait to see what we can accomplish this year and how SSM can increase its impact on the Penn State and Smeal communities.

Professional Development/Alumni Relations Director: Justin Pityk - jpp5904@psu.edu
Hello! My name is Justin Pityk and I am excited to serve as the Professional Development and Alumni Relations Director for Smeal Student Mentors. I am a junior Finance major from Cranberry Township, PA. I am involved in many activities on campus such as being a TA for Professor Ron Johnson, the Penn State Investment Association, and am avid about fitness and health. I wanted to get more involved with SSM because I believe there is a lot of good that can be done through this organization. We develop not only our mentees, but also our mentors into better people and the experience is truly meaningful. I'm happy to have such a great group of people serving on BOD with me, and I'm excited to see what this year holds for all of us!

Faculty Advisor: Alla Hatfield- anh130@psu.edu
My name is Alla Hatfield and I am the Faculty Adviser to the Smeal Student Mentors. I have been working with this exceptional student group since 2014 and it has been the most rewarding and enjoyable part of my job in Smeal! With each new cohort, Mentors continue to impress me with their high standards of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to Penn State community. In 2018, I was honored to receive a Penn State Outstanding Adviser of the Year Award for my work with the organization.
I earned my B.S. in Psychology and my M.Ed. degree in Counselor Education at Penn State. I’ve lived in the area since I graduated, so I certainly bleed blue and white! When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids. I also love long distance running and taking my miniature labradoodle on walks. My advising philosophy is that students should consider all possible options when making decisions regarding their education and careers and not be afraid to challenge themselves.
